How do I play?
Swipe to hit. The direction and length of the swipe set where the ball goes and how hard you hit it. Tap to serve, then swipe to place the serve. How to Play on the main menu has the full guide, and it is also reachable from the pause menu during a match.
Two players on one device
Choose Play with a Friend. The screen splits into two touch halves — each player swipes on their own half, and both can swipe at the same time. Each player picks their own athlete.
The game is too hard, or too easy
Settings has a difficulty tier that applies on top of each venue's own opponent level. If you lose the same venue several times in a row, the game offers Coach Assist, which widens the timing window.
Accessibility
Settings includes text size, high contrast, reduced motion, three colour-blind palettes, a left-handed swipe, and a vibration switch. Shot hints can be turned on to show where a shot is heading.
Does it need the internet?
Not to play. The whole career runs on your device with no connection. The app uses the network for one thing only: asking Google Play whether you own the venue unlock, and completing that purchase if you choose to make one.
Are there ads or purchases?
There is no advertising and no subscription. There is one optional purchase: the first level is free to play in full, and a single one-time payment opens the rest of the 108-level career. If you change phones, sign in to Google Play and it restores itself, or use Restore purchase in the app.
Where is my progress saved? Can I move it to a new phone?
Progress is saved in the app's private storage on your device. Because Android cloud backup is switched off for this app and there is no account, progress does not transfer to a new device. Installing on a new phone starts a fresh career.
How do I erase my progress?
Settings → Erase all progress, or Privacy & Data → Erase all progress now. This deletes every file the app has written and cannot be undone. See the data deletion page.
The game will not start, or something looks wrong
Force-stop the app and open it again. If that does not help, email us with your device model and Android version. If a save file is ever damaged, the app falls back to its backup copy and, failing that, starts a new career rather than refusing to open.
