Offline image converter and resizer for Android · version 1.0
How to convert a batch
- Tap Pick photos (or Browse files for HEIC, downloads and folders).
- Review the queue; unsupported files are marked in red and are skipped.
- Choose the output format, size, quality, background colour and metadata option.
- Tap Preview to see one real result, then Convert.
- From the results screen, Export to Photos or a folder, or Share.
A file shows “cannot decode this HEIC/HEIF”
HEIC support depends on your device’s decoders and needs Android 9 or newer. Reshapix never produces a fake result for a file it cannot read. Try exporting the photo as JPEG from the app that created it, then convert that copy.
Where did my exported files go?
Photos exports appear in your gallery under Pictures/Reshapix (Android 10 and newer). Folder exports go to the folder you picked. If a folder shows “access expired”, choose it again in settings.
Sizes, quality and metadata
Small images are not enlarged unless you turn on Allow enlarging. PNG and lossless WebP ignore the quality slider. “Remove metadata” is the privacy-safe default; “Keep camera metadata” copies EXIF tags including GPS. Colour profiles, XMP and IPTC data are not copied.
Freeing space
Converted files stay inside the app until you delete their batch from the home screen or use Delete all history and converted files under Help & settings. Your original images are never touched.
Settings backup
Help & settings lets you export your default conversion settings to a small JSON file and import it on another device. Batch history is device-specific and is not included.
