Privacy Policy

Reshapix is an offline Android image converter and resizer published by Binary Data Technology. This policy describes the app identified by package com.binarydata.reshapix, version 1.0.
What the app processes
When you pick images, Reshapix reads only those images to show their name, size and dimensions and to create converted copies at the format, size, quality and metadata setting you choose. All processing happens on your device.
Where your content goes
Reshapix has no internet permission and cannot send data anywhere. It includes no account system, cloud service, advertising, analytics or crash-reporting SDK. Binary Data Technology never receives your images, file names or settings.
Metadata
By default converted files are written without EXIF metadata, which removes camera details, timestamps and any GPS location. If you choose “Keep camera metadata”, the app copies a documented set of EXIF tags, including GPS coordinates when the original contained them, into the converted file. Colour profiles, XMP and IPTC data are never copied. Check a converted file before sharing it if metadata matters to you.
Storage, export, sharing and deletion
Converted files are stored in the app’s private storage until you export them to Photos (Pictures/Reshapix) or to a folder you choose, or share them through Android’s share sheet. The app never modifies or deletes your original images. You can delete individual batches or all converted files from within the app; uninstalling the app or clearing its storage removes everything the app kept. Files you already exported or shared remain where you put them. Reshapix opts out of Android cloud backup, so its private data is not copied to Google backups.
Permissions
- Photos and files you select: accessed through the Android photo picker or document picker, only for the items you choose. The app does not request access to your whole photo library.
- Folder you choose for export (optional): write access is granted by you through the Android folder picker and can be revoked in Android settings.
- No internet, camera, microphone, location, contacts or notification permissions are requested.
Children
Reshapix is a general-audience utility and is not directed to children under 13. It collects no personal information from anyone.
Data deletion
Reshapix keeps no data outside your device, so there is nothing for Binary Data Technology to delete on your behalf. To remove the app’s local data, delete batches inside the app or uninstall it.
