Living Trails · Binary Data Technology

Short version

Living Trails does not ask for your name, email, or an account, and we run no game servers that hold anything about you. Your progress stays on your device. Store purchases are handled by Apple or Google. The native app also includes Google AdMob for optional rewarded video; its SDK may collect and share the technical data described below when the app starts, even if you do not watch an advertisement.

1. What we collect ourselves

Nothing. We operate no servers for this game, run no analytics SDK, and have no user accounts. We cannot identify you.

2. What is stored on your device

The game saves the following locally, using your device's browser storage, and never transmits it:

You can erase all of it at any time with "Reset journey progress" in Settings, or by uninstalling the game.

3. Purchases

If you buy something, the transaction is handled entirely by the Apple App Store or Google Play. They tell the game which products you own so it can unlock them. We never receive or store your payment card, billing address, or store account details. Apple's and Google's own privacy policies govern that processing.

4. Advertising

The app version of the game offers optional rewarded video advertisements through Google AdMob. The Mobile Ads SDK is initialized when the native app starts so a rewarded ad can be ready if you request one. Google states that the SDK automatically collects and shares IP address (which may be used to estimate approximate location), app interactions such as launches, taps and video views, diagnostic information, and device or account identifiers such as the Android advertising ID and app set ID. Google uses this data for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention. That processing is governed by Google's own privacy policy, not by us — we never see or store any of it.

Because an advertising network uses this data for its own advertising and measurement purposes, both Google Play and Apple treat it as data being shared, and our store declarations say so.

Ways to limit or stop it:

The browser version of Living Trails contains no advertising and loads no advertising code.

5. Children's privacy

The game is not directed at children. It requires no account, asks for no personal details, and has no chat, social, or user-generated content features. Purchases are made through, and controlled by, the parental controls in your Apple or Google account.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has been served a personalised advertisement in this game, contact us at binarydatatechnology151@gmail.com and we will look into it.

6. Your rights

We hold no personal data about you ourselves, so there is nothing for us to export, correct, or delete on request. You control everything stored locally through Settings. Data held by Apple or Google — whether in connection with a purchase or with advertising — is held by them, and requests about it go to them directly using their published procedures. We can help you find the right route if you ask.

7. Changes

If this policy changes, the version date at the top will change and the new version will be shown in the game. Continued play after a change means you accept the updated policy.
