Privacy Policy

Nivora · Binary Data Technology · Effective 15 August 2026 · Updated for version 1.1

Plain-language summary

Nivora version 1 works without an account. We do not operate a Nivora database, collect your measurements, run analytics, serve ads, or require location. Your Nivora profile and wellness history stay in the app’s private on-device storage unless you deliberately export them with the system share sheet.

Information stored on your device

This data is used only to provide the app’s on-device features. Nivora does not request a precise birth date, location, camera access, contacts, puberty/period information, or advertising identifier.

Accounts, cloud storage, ads, and analytics

Nivora version 1 has no account, personal cloud synchronization, advertising, billing, referral system, or analytics SDK. Public privacy, terms, and support pages are hosted with Google Firebase Hosting, but the mobile app does not upload your profile or wellness data to Firebase.

Reminders and notifications

Reminders are switched off by default. If you turn one on, Android asks for notification permission and Nivora schedules the reminder with your device’s own scheduler. Nivora has no push server, creates no device token, and sends nothing over the network to deliver a reminder — the notification is produced entirely on your device. Reminder text is generic and never includes your measurements, check-in entries, or name. Turning a reminder off, or denying the permission, cancels the schedule locally. You can also revoke notification permission at any time in Android system settings.

Export, sharing, and restore

When you choose Export my data, Nivora creates a JSON file in temporary app storage and opens your device’s share sheet. You decide whether and where to send it. The selected receiving app or service then applies its own privacy practices. Canceling the share sheet leaves Nivora data unchanged.

When you choose Restore from a file, Nivora asks you to pick a previously exported file and shows what it contains before anything changes. Restoring replaces the data currently on the device and needs your explicit confirmation. The file is read on your device only; it is not uploaded. A purchase or unlock is never carried in an export file.

External links

Evidence and support links open only after you tap them. The destination website and ordinary internet infrastructure may receive technical information such as your IP address and browser details under that destination’s policy. Nivora does not add a user identifier to these links.

Deletion and retention

Select Settings → Reset all local data and confirm to delete the Nivora profile and history stored by the app. Uninstalling the app also removes its local storage according to your device platform. Because there is no Nivora account or server record in version 1, there is no separate server account to delete. See the deletion guide.

Age and sensitive information

Nivora is intended for ages 13 and older and does not offer an under-13 profile. We ask users not to send personal wellness exports to us by email. A parent or caregiver should guide a teen’s use when appropriate.

Health information boundary

Nivora provides educational wellness context. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition. Family-height estimates are broad educational ranges, not guarantees.

Security

Nivora minimizes risk by keeping its dataset local. The only runtime permission it can request is notification permission, and only when you switch a reminder on; it asks for no camera, location, microphone, contacts, or storage permission. No storage method is perfect; protect your device with its screen lock and share exports only with recipients you trust.

Changes

If app behavior changes—especially accounts, sync, analytics, ads, billing, or new data types—we will update this policy and the store disclosure before distributing that behavior.
