Terms of Use

Effective September 5, 2026

These terms cover the Rigmark Android application, package com.binarydata.rigmark, published by Binary Data Technology. Installing or using the app means you accept them.

Licence

Rigmark is free to install and use. You get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app on devices you control. You may not sell, sublicense, or redistribute the app itself, or attempt to derive its source code.

Your content is yours

The gear records, presets, setlists, notes and photos you put into Rigmark are yours. They are stored on your device, not with us, and we claim no rights over them. You are responsible for having the right to use any photo you attach.

What the app is

Rigmark records equipment settings so you can reproduce them yourself. It does not process, generate or model audio, and it does not control any hardware. Nothing saved in the app changes a physical instrument, amplifier or effect. Any maker or model name in the app is text you typed; Rigmark ships no gear database.

No affiliation

Binary Data Technology is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any instrument or equipment manufacturer. All artwork in the app was drawn for this project.

Back up your own work

Rigmark stores your notebook on your device. Devices are lost, broken and reset. Use the Back up option in Settings and keep the resulting file somewhere safe. We cannot recover data from a device we never had.

Availability and changes

The app is provided as it is. We may release updates that change or remove features, and we may stop distributing the app. Where a change would affect data you have already saved, we will provide a migration or an export path rather than discarding your work.

Disclaimer and liability

To the extent permitted by law, Rigmark is provided without warranties of any kind, and Binary Data Technology is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from its use, including loss of data you did not back up. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law in your country that cannot be limited by agreement.

Governing terms

These terms are governed by the laws of Ghana, without affecting mandatory consumer protections available to you where you live.
