These terms apply to your use of the Pagebind Android application provided by Binary Data Technology. By using the app, you agree to these terms.

Your documents

You keep all rights in and responsibility for the documents and images you process. Pagebind stores them only on your device and does not grant Binary Data Technology any licence to them. Any export, save or share is initiated and controlled by you.

What the app does and does not do

Pagebind copies pages from PDFs and images into new PDF files. Form fields and digital signatures are not carried into a new PDF, and any page operation invalidates existing signatures; the app warns you when it detects them. Password-protected, encrypted or damaged PDFs are reported as unsupported. Pagebind does not remove document protection and is not a document repair, OCR or e-signature tool.

Your responsibility

Check every exported file before relying on it, sending it or filing it. Keep your own copies of important documents; the copies inside Pagebind can be removed by the app's Clear files action or by uninstalling.

Acceptable use

Use Pagebind only with documents you are entitled to process. Do not use it to infringe copyright, breach confidentiality, or circumvent protections placed on a document by its owner.

Warranty and liability

To the extent permitted by law, Pagebind is provided as available without warranties of uninterrupted or error-free operation. Binary Data Technology is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the app, including loss of documents you did not keep copies of.

Open-source software

Pagebind includes open-source components under the Apache License 2.0, listed in the app under Settings › Open-source licences.
