DAIS

Terms of Use

Effective September 5, 2026

These terms apply to your use of the Dais Android application provided by Binary Data Technology. By using the app, you agree to these terms.

What Dais is

Dais is a timing aid for talks, meetings and programmes. It shows a countdown and records the times you observe. It is not a broadcast, safety or professional production system, and it does not guarantee that any event runs to time.

Your content

Programmes, session records and any file you export remain yours. The app stores them only on your device and grants Binary Data Technology no rights to them. Exports and shares happen only when you start them.

Accuracy

Timing depends on your device's clock and on Android keeping the app alive. After a device restart the app estimates elapsed time and tells you so. Keep your own record of any time that matters.

Acceptable use

Do not use Dais to infringe the rights of others or in a way that breaks the law. Do not attempt to interfere with the app's operation on other people's devices.

Warranty and liability

To the extent permitted by law, Dais is provided as available without warranty of uninterrupted or error-free operation. Binary Data Technology is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the app, including an event overrunning.
